Resona works fully without an account. Everything you create — your frequency list, your photos, the stage — is stored on your device only. Your photos never leave it.
This page is the same text shown inside the app under Settings › Privacy.
Your frequency list, any frequencies you add, your favourites, the photos you place on the stage, your caption, and your preferences are held in the app's own storage on your iPhone. None of it is sent anywhere, and deleting the app deletes all of it.
Photos you take with the camera or pick from your library are copied into the app's container so the stage can show them. They are never uploaded.
Signing in is optional and is never required to use the app. It exists only so you can hold a message thread with us and ask us to suggest a frequency.
If you sign in, your email address and the messages you send us are stored on our server so the thread survives between sessions. That is the only personal data we receive. We use your email to hold that thread and for nothing else: no marketing, no sharing, no sale. Signing out removes the session from your device.
Ask us to delete your account and its messages at any time by writing to contact@xoplabs.fyi, and we will remove them.
When you add an anatomical illustration, Resona downloads it from Wikimedia Commons and keeps a copy on your device so it loads instantly next time. Wikimedia sees that request as any website would — an IP address and a standard request for an image file. We send them nothing about you.
Each illustration is credited, with a link to its source page, under Settings › Image credits in the app.
Resona requests the camera and your photo library, and only when you tap to add a photo. You can refuse either and the rest of the app works unchanged.
Resona is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child. Nothing is collected at all unless someone chooses to sign in with an email address.
If you never sign in, we hold nothing about you and there is nothing to request. If you have signed in, you can ask us for a copy of your email address and messages, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Write to contact@xoplabs.fyi.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to contact@xoplabs.fyi.
